Arts & Culture: The MKE Experience
The MKE Experience:
I walk in and am immediately bombarded with smiles, laughter, dueling pianos and the most beautiful display of cocktails & food.
Everyone is dressed in their most beautiful cocktail attire and dawning smiles that are typically saved for weddings.
It was truly the kind of event where you feel blessed to be apart of and yes, I'm going out on a limb and speaking for everyone in attendance. Everyone there got to make a difference, not just with #hashatags and empty facebook posts but with real effort, personal time and whatever monetary contributions that we can make. We now live in a time where its become acceptable to change your profile picture and believe that you've done enough. Sure, "the thought is what counts," but here in the real world. Action, action is what counts and everyone in that room took action, took initiative and got to have fun while doing it.
